Drop an old grudge, and replace it with some pleasant memories. Vow not to make a promise you don't think you can keep. Walk tall, and smile more. You'll look ten years younger. Kardio Kickboxing - Tuesdays 6-7 pm
Step n Sculpt - Thursdays 6-6:45 pm

Other classes include Pump n Pedal, Yoga, Boot camp, Body Flex, Core, etc.



NEW CLASS ADDED TO THE SCHEDULE - DITCH THE WORKOUT, JOIN THE PARTY FOR ZUMBA HI-LO

Ditch the workout, join the party! This aerobic style class boasts moves and routines which feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a Zumba® class!

YMCA YOUTH ZONE

Where: YMCA Lunenburg County, 75 High Street, Bridgewater
When: Every Friday Night [starting July 3rd]
Ages: 5-17 years old
Times: 6-8 pm 5-12 years old
8-10 pm 12-17 years old

The YMCA offers and exciting and safe environment for the youth of Lunenburg County. This "free| program is designed for youth of all ages to engage in physical activities, challenge their minds with various games and enjoy their peers. Join in the friendship, the leadership, and most of the fun! Funded by United Way Lunenburg County.

YMCA Honduras 20 Kilometre WaterWalk 2010
A water-walk is a journey to fetch clean water when it is otherwise unavailable to a community. The H-20 will replicate a twenty kilometre journey that reflects the work that most people undergo in underdeveloped countries to live healthy lives.

Our YMCA International coordinator, Johnathan Gregorash
will begin the walk at Bridgewater’s Shipyards Landing, traveling around Conquerall Bank and past Fancy’s Lake in barefeet!

The YMCA of Lunenburg County hopes our community will support Johnathan by offering $2, $10, or $20 donations for completing the event. He hopes to raise at least $2000 by the event date on October 2nd, 2010.

YMCA HEALTHY KIDS DAY A HUGE SUCCESS

YMCA Lunenburg County would like to thank all sponsors and volunteers for making our 3rd annual Healthy Kids Day a success.

Childminding Services

There will be childminding services on weekday mornings during July and August due to staff and room availability.

PROGRAM AND WEIGHT ROOM VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH ZONE

Your YMCA is looking for persons that have an interest in helping youth in our program on Friday Evenings. Call your YMCA today if you have have some knowledge of weight training and using cardio equipment, passion for helping others and want to help build stronger kids!

Revision: Please note that our Friday Night Youth Zone invites children ages five years to 17 years old.

Youth Zone will be cancelled Friday, September 3rd for the Labour Day Holiday.
