The YMCA of Lunenburg County is pleased to welcome you and your child to our Child Care Programs. Our programs deliver stimulating learning experiences in a safe environment that will enhance your child's social, intellectual, physical and emotional development
18 Months–5 Years
Full Day
Here at the fully licensed Child Care Centre we provide an emergent style, semi-structured play environment to meet the individual needs of the children. We also have included in our program the joys and educational aspects of music.
- On-going registration.
- Monday–Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm
- Fee: $23.00 per day full time or $25 per day for part time
5-12 Years
After school Child Care Program in the Clubhouse
Are you looking for a great program for your children after school? The Y is the place for you! Our licensed after school program is for ages 5–12 years and we work with your children to create a fun, entertaining and educational experience for all involved. A nutritious snack is provided daily. This program provides opportunities of interest consisting of science & math activities, drama, fitness, reading, games, swimming, bowling and much more.
- Time: 2:30pm-6:00pm
- Fee: $8.50 per day or $40.00 per week
In-service and Storm Day Care in the Clubhouse
We have a fun and active program for your children on half and full day in-services. We run programs on in-service and storm days with a variety of activities to keep your children involved and active! Our licensed program provides nutritious snacks and lunch for your child. Please pre-register for this service.
Full Day:
- Time: 7:30am – 6:00pm
- Fee: Fee: $23.00 per day
Part Day:
- Time: 12:00 to 6:00pm
- Fee: $13 per half day
