Child Minding Service

Our YMCA strives to meet the needs of all it members. This includes child-minding service in a safe and caring environment while you excercise.

Hours of Service

• Monday through Friday mornings 9:15am - 11:30am
• Monday evenings 5:00pm - 7:00pm
• Wednesday evenings 6:00pm - 8:00pm - *NEW
• Saturday mornings 9:00am - 12:00pm [no service on Saturday until further notice.]

Hourly Rate

• $3.00 per hour for 1 child
• Each additional child is an additional $2.00 per hour

Caregivers Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certification
• Criminal record check
• Child abuse registry

Child Registration Requirements

• Sign your child in upon arrival
• Parent(s) must indicate where in the facility you can be located in event of an emergency
• Parent(s) are not permitted to leave the facility while excercising
• Provision of your child's personal care needs (diapers, etc...), a drink and or snack if you choose.

We are conveniently located on the first floor of the YMCA Lunenburg County. No pre-booking required.
